One Storey Classic Elevated Bungalow

This one storey bungalow design composed of 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets and bath and an open dining kitchen style.
The elevated feature of this house is very convenient in places where flood or rising water is frequent during the rainy season. The six steps at the front patio will ensure a height of 0.90 meters from the finished ground level.
The total floor area of the house is approximately 120 square meters and to build this design as single-detached, you will need a lot having a frontage of 20 meters and depth of 18 meters, total lot area of approximately 360 square meters.

Features of this design are hipped roof with tile effect roofing, double swing door at the main trance for wider entry. Elevated floor for flood-proof design, white-coated aluminum sliding windows and doors, and painted accent walls for better contrast.

Looking at the layout, the front porch is approximately 4.5 square meters with 6 steps that elevate the floor to at least 0.90 meters from the finish grade line outside. With the double swing door at the main entrance, the living room can accommodate a sizable guest located at the center of the house.
Two bedrooms on the left side serve as common rooms with 3.5 meters by 3.5 meters in size. At the back is the opening dining and kitchen combined for a wider space.
At the left side is the master’s bedroom with en-suit bathroom and toilet. Also on the left is the open garage which can accommodate 2 cars.

This house can be built as single-detached with a front setback of 3 meters, back at 2 meters, and right at 2 meters. With this type of house, you can be sure that you are not flooded during the rainy season if your lot is located in low lying areas. This is indeed a good design from Kittisak Watsadu from Thailand.
